Inspection and Testing to Agreed Requirements

Connect-2 Technology is ISO 9001:2015 certified, with a workforce trained to IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements and supported by internal IPC trainers.

Our wiring harnesses and cable looms undergo in-process inspection and mechanical and electrical testing. Checks are defined around the assembly and customer specification, rather than assuming that every harness requires the same test programme.

Depending on the project, electrical testing can include continuity, insulation resistance and agreed functional checks. Testing methods and acceptance criteria should be discussed at quotation stage so the appropriate checks form part of the manufacturing requirement.
